J. David Evanich, MD specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, joint reconstruction and replacement surgery.

He completed his medical school training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas

Texas followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee

Wisconsin. Dr Evanich then went on to complete a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction and replacement

surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City Utah.

Dr Evanich received board certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic

Surgery in 2007 and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in

2003.

Dr Evanich maintains numerous affiliations including the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the

Texas Orthopedic Association, the Texas Society of Sports Medicine, the American Association of Hip & Knee

Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of

Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Denton County Medical Society. He also is the recipient of numerous honors

and awards ranging from a variety of University accolades, to team physician awards including the Salt Lake

2002 Winter Olympics.

In his spare time., Dr Evanich proudly serves as the team physician for Liberty Christian School.
