Craig S. Bindi, MD is owner, medical director, and the surgical ophthalmologist at the Laser Eye Center of

Silicon Valley in San Jose, California and the Laser Eye Center of the East Bay in Pleasanton, California.

Dr Bindi graduated and trained at the University of California at Davis School of Medicine, Department

of Ophthalmology Residency Program and completed an additional one-year academic post-doctoral fellowship

at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, studying and researching corneal physiology and refractive

surgery. Dr Bindi completed a general surgery & medicine internship in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr Bind has performed over 40,000 refractive surgical procedures and is an expert in the field of vision

correction surgery. Dr Bindi is the Oakland Raider’s team ophthalmologist, LASIK surgeon and sideline

physician.

Dr Bindi became a Board Certified Ophthalmologist in 2002 by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a

teacher of latest techniques in refractive surgery to local eye surgeons and a frequent source of information for

local media (TV, radio, newspaper).
