Michael Schwartz, MD is double Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and General surgery, Dr Schwartz has been

in practice for almost 17 years as a solo practitioner in Westlake Village in Southern California. His practice is

100% cosmetic.

Dr Schwartz completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, did his General Surgery training at Los

Angeles County - USC Medical Center, and completed his Plastic Surgery training at University of Texas

Southwestern in Dallas, one of the premier residency programs in the country.

While Dr Schwartz performs all areas of cosmetic surgery, his main focus is on facial and breast surgery. Dr

Schwartz is a national educator for breast surgery and teaches both for the implant manufacturers, and at the

national society level. Dr Schwartz has been asked to author several upcoming and recent publications in this

area.

Despite the successes of a private practice, Dr Schwartz anticipates practice transitions in the future, only some

of which may be predictable. Dr Schwartz craves the ability to maintain a lifestyle not dependent on a constant

personal presence in the office or the OR.
