Peter J. Sneed, MD is an Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Traverse City, Michigan.

Dr. Sneed grew up on the shores of Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin. He played basketball and tennis for

the Vikings while attending college at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. He received his medical degree

from the University of South Dakota and completed his Ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in

Detroit, Michigan. He did a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Joe Flanagan at the

Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr Sneed is married to Kristin Sneed and has four children Bekka, Erin, Nathan, and Joel. They live on the

shores of Lake Michigan in the fishing town of Leland. He is a founding member and has been involved with

the development, opening, and ongoing operations of The Prairie Club in the Sandhills of Nebraska. He is also

an investor and actively involved in Strathspey Crown Holdings, LLC, a company "Of Doctors For Patients"

which is changing the healthcare, technology, and social commerce world.

Dr. Sneed is the immediate past Secretary of Education and member of the Executive Committee for the

American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS) He is also on the Board of Directors

of the 535 member Northern Physicians Organization, and is President of the Northern Michigan Health

Network, LLC, a clinically integrated network and Medicare Shared Saving Program ACO. He is on the

governing board for the Northwest Michigan Surgery Center, which is the second busiest surgery center in the

country.

Through these organizations, Dr. Sneed is passionately involved in pursuing solutions for reshaping health care

in the United States both on the local and national levels. He firmly believes physician leadership and restoring

the physician patient relationship is paramount to these solutions. The visionary path that Strathspey Crown and

Alphaeon are taking will lead a resurgence of America back to the forefront of research, development, and

innovation in medicine.
